Michael is an ambitious project for Telugu star Sundeep Kishan who will be seen in a never-seen-before action-packed role and it is also his maiden multilingual film which is directed by Ranjit Jeykodi.  Today, Nata Simham Nandamuri Balakrishna, Ponniyin Selvan actor Jayam Ravi, music composer Anirudh Ravichander, and Malayalam superstar Nivin Pauly launched the theatrical trailer of the movie in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages.

The recently released trailer revealed that Michael is not just an action entertainer but it also has romance, drama, and many thrilling elements. Coming to the characters, going by the trailer, every character showcases a glimpse of their dark side. The trailer traces the journey of how Sundeep Kishan feels life is meaningless without love but he is often cautioned by his friend Gautam Menon about women. The role of Sundeep’s lady love is played by Divyansha Kaushik. The trailer shows glimpses of their love story wherein Kaushik also warns him about falling in love with her and how it may lead him to heartbreak. While we can get several glimpses of Sundeep, Vijay Sethupathi makes a small but powerful appearance in the trailer.

A source close to the film described it saying, “Michael is a raw, intense, bloody actioner with a beautiful love story and stylish visual treatment. It carries a vintage feel by showing typical gangster cars, red-themed backdrops, and retro clothing. As for Sundeep’s character, be it the love that he feels towards his girl or the anguish he shows on his opponents, it is all about his intensity where we wanted the audience to feel his love and pain in different situations. Vijay Sethupathi will definitely be a special treat to everyone. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar will be seen in an action role, whereas Varun Sandesh too has a meaty role to play along with Anasuya Bharadwaj in a strong character.”

Talking about the film’s crew, Kiran Kaushik has handled the camerawork whereas Sam CS has provided the background score. The dialogues for the movie are penned by Tripuraneni Kalyan Chakravarthy, Rajan Radhamanalan, and Ranjit Jeyakodi. Karan C Productions LLP in association with Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP are producing the movie. The film is slated to release in five languages on February 3, 2023.
