Makers of Ram Charan starrer RC15 eyeing Sankranti 2024 for release

South star Ram Charan has been in the headlines constantly for various reasons, especially for his song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from RRR getting recognition from across the globe. While a section of fans is still celebrating the song securing a nomination at the 95th Academy Awards, Ram Charan is all set to return to the screen with his much-anticipated project, RC15, and according to the latest buzz, the actor has asked the makers to secure the Sankranthi 2024 release slot.

If a report by 123telugu.com is something to go by, then Ram Charan asked the producer Dil Raju to lock the Sankranthi slot for RC15 at “any cost”. However, it is worth mentioning here that neither Ram nor the producer has confirmed the speculations.

Speaking of the production of RC15, in November 2023, Ram Charan and Kiara Advani wrapped the New Zealand schedule of their forthcoming collaboration. Sharing the update, Ram had taken to his social media handle and dropped a photo, in which both leads were seen cutting a cake with the team. The shoot of the film commenced in October 2021.

Talking about RC15, Ram Charan will play the male lead in this action entertainer while sharing screen space with Kiran Advani. The duo had earlier seen together in Boyapati Srinu’s ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’. Meanwhile, the ensemble star cast of the film includes S. J. Suryah, Anjali, Jayaram, Sunil, Srikanth, Naveen Chandra, Nassar, Raghu Babu and Samuthirakani, among others.

Besides them, S Thaman has come on board for the composition of music with Tirru and R. Rathnavelu will be cranking the camera and Shameer Muhammed will look after the editing. Directed by Shankar, it will be a bilingual film, releasing in Telugu and as well as Tamil.
