Makers Confirm Start Date for Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel’s Film ‘Dragon’

Jr NTR, gearing up for the release of “Devara: Part 1” on September 27, 2024, is set to enthrall audiences again with his upcoming collaboration with director Prashanth Neel. The producer of their next project, tentatively titled “Dragon,” has confirmed that filming will commence in October or November. Jr NTR is expected to join the crew in December 2024.

During a media interaction while promoting “Mathu Vadalara 2,” the producer disclosed the shoot schedule for the highly anticipated film, which marks Jr NTR’s 31st venture and his first collaboration with the renowned “KGF” director. The film was officially launched with a pooja ceremony in August. Additionally, the makers have announced a theatrical release date set for January 9, 2026, stating, “This time, the earth will tremble under his reign!”

Jr NTR is presently on a hiatus from filming due to an arm injury sustained earlier this month. The actor has been seen wearing a cast on several occasions, necessitating a brief break from work.

Regarding his upcoming release, “Devara,” a two-part film directed by Koratala Siva, is poised for its much-anticipated debut. The action-packed thriller is expected to showcase Jr NTR in a dual role, a premise teased by the makers through a captivating new poster titled “The Faces Of Fear,” which has stirred considerable intrigue and excitement among fans.

The upcoming film starring Jr NTR also features Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor (making her Telugu debut) in lead roles. Joining them are esteemed actors like Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Shruti Marathe, Ajay, and others in pivotal roles.

The film, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, has already released two singles. The first is the energetic track “Fear Song,” followed by the romantic melody “Chuttumalle.”

In a special gesture on Saif Ali Khan’s birthday, the makers unveiled a teaser showcasing his character, Bhaira, offering a glimpse into his role in the movie.
