Kamal Haasan recently praised Nag Ashwin’s “Kalki 2898 AD” as a significant step towards global entertainment in Indian cinema. The film, which explores mythology with a secular lens, has been lauded for its detailed storytelling inspired by Indian heritage. Kamal Haasan particularly admired Amitabh Bachchan’s portrayal in the film, stating, “I don’t know if I should call him a veteran or a fresh actor. He has performed the role with such finesse that it feels tailor-made for audiences of all ages.”
