After the release of Rockstar DSP and Bhushan Kumar’s single, ‘O Pari’ in Hindi, Devi Sri Prasad released the Tamil version with Kamal Hassan and the Telugu version of the song with Nagarjuna. Earlier on, the song was launched by Ranveer Singh in Mumbai and it was DSP’s first ever non-film Hindi song. Now, the same was released with a Tamil as well as a Telugu version. That’s not all, the song launches of these tracks were star-studded affairs as it was launched by Kamal Hassan and Nagarjuna along with Rockstar DSP.

Kamal Hassan launched the Tamil version ‘O Penne’ at a grand event with DSP while Nagarjuna launched the Telugu version ‘O Pilla’ on the sets of Bigg Boss along with the musician. During the respective events, both these industry stalwarts took to the stage and praised the musician’s work and also grooved to the hook step of the newly released track.

Expressing his appreciation towards ‘O Pilla’, Nagarjuna said, “We are here today to celebrate the true blue talent that Devi Sri Prasad possesses. ‘O Pilla’ is a track that surely needed a Telugu version since its Hindi version received such a great applause. I am sure that everyone will love this song and I too am in awe of the insurmountable talent that he has. Congratulations to you on this superb track!”

On the other hand, Kamal Hassan shared his thoughts at the song launch event of the Tamil version ‘O Penne’, “I have known Devi Sri Prasad for many years. He keeps amusing me with his work. He keeps moving to the next level consistently with his new achievements. It’s a unique quality that music directors should possess, and he owns them in plenty. By all means, he is a personality who deserves abundant success. This new attempt by Devi Sri Prasad has become a great hit. I also wish him he achieves a greater stature in the movie industry as well. I thank Bhushan Kumar for being a great support in creating this.”

Witnessing the love showered on him, DSP expressed his excitement by saying, “My tons of thanks and love for Kamal Haasan and Nagarjuna sir. They have been great pillars and support in all my efforts. Initially, I expressed the idea of this International song to Kamal Haasan sir alone. His encouraging thoughts and words propelled me to successfully complete the song. His insatiable passion for music was the main factor that connected both of us. This is the reason why I wanted him to release this song.”
