Virupaksha grosses 50 crores in 4 days

Virupaksha led by Sai Dharam Tej has emerged as hit. The film has earned 50 crores in just 4 days, which is a great start for a horror film.

Sai Dharam Tej led Virupaksha was released on last Friday to great reviews. The horror thriller movie has provided a spine-chilling experience to the audience. It is directed by Karthik Dandu, the film has been touted as one of the best thrillers in recent times.

Virupaksha had the best opening figures in Sai Dharam Tej’s career so far. The film received rave reviews from Telugu audience and overseas, with great numbers at the box office. The film collected 44 crores in its first weekend (Friday to Sunday). Today, the makers released the box office figures of Virupaksha including the weekday (Monday). Virupaksha collected 50 crores at the box office worldwide in just 4 days.

The film is inching towards the 1 million dollar mark at the US box office and much better figures in the Telugu states. Virupaksha has now paved a way for technical brilliance in the making of medium budget films. The film is produced by BVSN Prasad. The makers are also planning for a sequel to the film with some chills and terror.
