Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu-starrer Kushi’s release date announced

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming romantic drama Khushi has been much awaited by fans. After Mahanati, this will be the second collaboration of Samantha and Vijay. The co-stars took to Twitter on Thursday to finally announce the release date of the film. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, the film will release on the big screen on 1st September 2023.

Sharing the poster, Vijay captioned the post, “#Kushi (red heart emoji) Sept 1st. With full love, @Samanthaprabhu2 @ShivaNirvana @MythriOfficial @HeshamAWMusic & your man.” Samantha, sharing the poster, wrote, “Whole heart (white heart emoji).”

Earlier, the film’s title & poster was revealed in May 2022. Samantha had to pause all her commitments as she was undergoing treatment for her medical condition. Therefore, the shoot of Kushi had to be postponed.

Recently, Samantha returned to the sets of Kushi after many months.She was welcomed with a cake. Pictures of Samantha from the sets of the film surfaced on social media. Director Shiva Nirvana took to Twitter and described Samantha as a “fighter” as she returned to the sets.
