Naga Chaitanya says Samantha Ruth Prabhu deserves all the happiness

Naga Chaitanya is currently gearing up for his film Custody. The trailer of the Venkat Prabhu’s directorial was released today. Naga has been busy with interviews ahead of his film’s release. In a recent interaction. He mentioned about ex-wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu and said she deserves all the happiness.

The couple got married in October 2017 and announced they were divorcing in October 2021. In an interview with ETimes, the actor shared, “Yes. It has been more than two years since we separated and a year since we formally divorced. The court has granted us a divorce. Both of us have moved on with our lives. I have tremendous respect for that phase of my life.”

He added, “[Samantha] is a lovely person and deserves all the happiness. It is only when the media speculates that things get awkward between us. In the public eye, that mutual respect is taken away. That’s what I feel bad about.”

On the other hand, Custody is being produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi, under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen. SR Kathir is the cinematographer, Rajeevan is the production designer and DY Satyanarayana is the art director for the movie. Custody will have a theatrical release worldwide on May 12, 2023.
