Naga Chaitanya Opens Up About Bollywood Debut and Divorce from Samantha Ruth Prabhu

Naga Chaitanya, son of Nagarjuna, made his much-anticipated Bollywood debut with the film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha,’ starring Aamir Khan. Despite the film’s poor performance at the box office, the actor expressed in a recent interview that he has no regrets about his decision.

In an interview with Mirchi 9, Naga Chaitanya revealed that his main reason for taking up the project was to have the opportunity to work with Aamir Khan and learn from him. Although he initially expected to work with Aamir for only two days, he ended up being a part of the project for 5-6 months. The actor emphasized the transformative experience of working with Aamir and stated that he came out as an evolved person, both professionally and personally.

While discussing his personal life, Naga Chaitanya confirmed that he and Samantha Ruth Prabhu are officially divorced. Despite their separation, he spoke highly of his former wife, describing her as a “lovely person.” He expressed that he feels bad when mutual respect is compromised in the public eye due to media speculation.

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu had been in a relationship for several years before tying the knot in 2017. However, they announced their separation in October 2021 after four years of marriage. In their statement, they requested privacy as they moved on from their relationship.
