Kichcha Sudeep, a well-known actor from Karnataka, recently made headlines with his decision to campaign for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming Karnataka elections. While he won’t be contesting in the elections, he will be campaigning for the party. This move has left actor Prakash Raj ‘shocked and hurt’, who has been vocal about his stance against the Modi government and the BJP party.

During a press conference, Kichcha Sudeep was asked about his thoughts on BJP’s ideology. He stated that he respects certain decisions Mr Modi has taken, but that has nothing to do with him sitting there today. The Kichcha Sudeep also said that he is here to campaign for CM Basavaraj Bommai and not the party. However, this move hasn’t gone down well with Prakash Raj, who took to Twitter to express his disappointment.

In response to the news of Kichcha Sudeep joining the BJP, Prakash Raj tweeted that he believed the news to be fake and that Kichcha Sudeep is a far more sensible citizen to fall prey to such tactics by the desperate, losing BJP in Karnataka. However, with the confirmation that Kichcha Sudeep is indeed campaigning for BJP, Prakash Raj has reacted by stating that he is “shocked and hurt” by the decision.

It’s worth noting that Prakash Raj has been very vocal about his opposition to the Modi government and the BJP party. The actor has frequently criticized their policies and actions, particularly in social and political issues. Hence, Kichcha Sudeep’s decision to campaign for BJP may come across as a surprise to many.

In another development, Kichcha Sudeep has reportedly received a threat letter from an unknown source. The letter contains derogatory language against the actor and threatens to leak his private videos on social media. The letter was received by his manager, and Sudeep has alleged that it is someone from the industry who sent it. An FIR has been filed, and the case has been transferred to the Central Crime Branch for further investigation.

Kichcha Sudeep’s decision to campaign for BJP has left Prakash Raj ‘shocked and hurt’. While Sudeep clarified that he is here to campaign for CM Basavaraj Bommai and not the party, it remains to be seen how this move will impact the upcoming elections. Additionally, the threat letter received by Kichcha Sudeep raises concerns about the safety and security of public figures in the industry.
