Bobby Deol to play the antagonist in Suriya starrer Kanguva

Suriya has been busy with his highly anticipated film Kanguva and the shoot has started in full swing. It is expected to be mounted on a massive scale and is considered to be one of the biggest projects of Suriya. The film, which is also expected to mark the South debut of Disha Patani, is also expected to see popular star Bobby Deol as the villain.

First glimpse of Kanguva, shows that the film will feature some high on action sequences. Set in a completely different time period, Suriya will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar. Now adding to all this, it is being said that Bobby Deol will probably be seen as the main antagonist in the movie.

A report in Deccan Chronicle has it that the actor has indeed given a nod for the film. Furthermore, it is also being said that Bobby will be taking off to Bangkok soon to join the rest of the team for the shooting of the film. There have not been any official statements regarding this.

Talking about Kanguva, the film is directed by Siva, whereas the rest of the star cast of the film will be revealed soon. The film features cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy and musical score composed by ‘Rockstar’ Devi Sri Prasad. Studio Green has signed up with top distribution houses to release the film as many as ten languages.
