Bobby Deol, a prominent figure in Bollywood, recently shared insights into his sons Aryaman Deol and Dharam Deol’s potential ventures in the film industry. In an interview with India Today, Bobby shed light on his sons’ aspirations and readiness to step into the world of cinema.

Aryaman Deol, Bobby’s elder son, has been making waves in the spotlight, catching attention at events like the Gadar 2 success party and accompanying his father in paparazzi videos, notably during the promotions of the film “Animal.” Bobby expressed his desire for his elder son to undergo training and dedicated preparation before venturing into the industry, emphasizing the importance of hard work and self-improvement.

Speaking about Dharam, his younger son, Bobby conveyed his deep-rooted passion for filmmaking. Dharam’s interest in various aspects of filmmaking, from editing to visual storytelling, sets him apart and reflects his keen enthusiasm for the cinematic craft. Bobby proudly shared Dharam’s independent initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly his involvement in photography showcased on Bobby’s Instagram. The younger Deol’s profound appreciation for the technical facets of filmmaking manifests in his discussions about movies, leaving Bobby impressed with his son’s grasp of the technicalities.

While Bobby anticipates his son’s entry into the industry, he highlighted that Aryaman, at 22, and Dharam, at 19, are still in the nascent stages of their careers. He expressed the belief that within the next 3-4 years, they might venture into showbiz. Regarding launching his sons akin to how his brother Sunny Deol introduced Karan Deol with “Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas” (2019), Bobby disclosed that he currently has no such plans in place.

Reflecting on his illustrious career that commenced with the Filmfare Award-winning debut in “Barsaat” (1995) and encompassed various successful ventures such as “Gupt,” “Soldier,” “Ajnabee,” and “Humraaz,” Bobby acknowledged his sons’ unique qualities and aspirations. He emphasized his wish for their happiness and success, expressing his inability to predict their future paths but hoping for their fulfilment in whatever they pursue.

Bobby’s latest film “Animal,” released on December 1, has garnered tremendous success, amassing over ₹361 crore nett in India alone. Despite his achievements, Bobby remains keen on supporting and nurturing his sons’ aspirations, embracing their distinct interests and potential contributions to the cinematic world.
