Daksha Nagarkar, one of the heroines of the upcoming action thriller ‘Ravanasura’ starring Ravi Teja, shares her experience working on the film and her role in an exclusive interview.

Q: How did ‘Ravanasura’ come into the project?

A: The producer approached me for the film. When he told me about the look of the character, I found it very exciting. Being a part of Ravi Teja’s film and working under director Sudhir Varma gave me great joy.

Q: Can you tell us about your role in the film?

A: Let’s not talk about my role in ‘Ravanasura’ now, as it’s still a suspense. But I can say that I have done a role that has a lot of scope for performance.

Q: Are you new to doing crime thrillers? How did it feel?

A: I always try to do something new. I have played various roles like a girl who is mentally disturbed in ‘Horahori’, a role similar to ‘Dil Chahata Hai’ in ‘Husharu’, and even in the first Telugu zombie film ‘Zombie Reddy’. ‘Ravanasura’ is also a very different movie, and the audience will be surprised to see my role in this.

Q: How was it working with director Sudhir Varma?

A: I have seen Sudhir Varma’s past films, and they are very different. He has a unique way of storytelling, and it felt like watching a movie while he was speaking. It was a pleasure to work under his direction.

Q: How was it working with Ravi Teja?

A: Ravi Teja is a big star and a mass maharaja. His personality is great, and he is very humble. There was a lot of fun on the sets, and it was a good experience working with him.
