Waltair Veerayya: Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja croon for their massy dance song ‘Poonakaalu Loading’

Just a day ago we had reported that fans of Chiranjeevi are in for a special treat as makers of Waltair Veerayya were all set to give them a treat for New Year. Now, they have unveiled the song ‘Poonakalu Loading’ that will feature ‘Waltair’ alongside Veerayya Ravi Teja. This is the first song from the movie featuring the two leading men. While the song will definitely make you dance to its tunes, it seems tha the duo has even lent the voice for portions of this fun soundtrack.

A source close to the film spoke about the song saying, “‘Poonakaalu Loading’ is the fourth song and true to the title, the song will offer poonakaalu (goosebumps) to the class and the mass audience. Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad who is the best in the business has scored these mass numbers. He has conceptualized and rendered a song that will make anyone tap their foot. Roll Rida penned some funny lyrics, and also sang the song along with Ram Miriyala. Furthermore, Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja also crooned the number to make it a much more distinctive one.”

Speaking about how the song was shot, the source added, “The carnival set-up and a huge crowd is an added advantage for this mass number and it is going to be a full meal feast to everyone’s eyes to see Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja shaking their legs together. Sekhar master’s choreography is terrific and he has rightly utilized the body language of Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja. While Chiranjeevi’s look is expected to be massy, his get-up will remind us of his yesteryear blockbusters like Mutha Mestri, Rowdy Alludu, etc. Ravi Teja’s look, on the other hand, is kept as quite trendy. We need to wait for another couple of weeks to witness this mega mass magic on the big screen.”

The ambitious project of Bobby aka KS Ravindra is made on a lavish budget. With Shruti Haasan and Catherine Tresa playing leading ladies, the film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers, whereas GK Mohan is the co-producer. Arthur A Wilson cranks the camera, whereas Niranjan Devaramane is the editor and AS Prakash is the production designer. Sushmita Konidela is the costume designer. Waltair Veerayya will be releasing worldwide on January 13, 2023 in Telugu along with a Hindi dubbed version.
