Vishal opens up about the mishap on the sets of Mark Antony

Makers of Vishal starrer Tamil movie Mark Antony were in for a shock when a major mishap resulted in the destruction of the sets. Fortunately, it has been reported that there were no injuries. Taking to social media, the leading man of the film, Vishal posted a video giving us a glimpse of what transpired on the sets of the film and needless to say, it has taken over the internet by storm.

In the video posted by Vishal, a speeding vehicle was seen breaking a wall and approaching towards the camera. The heavy vehicle seemed to be uncontrollable as people scattered and tried to save themselves from the barging vehicle. The situation resulted in chaos on the sets. On the other hand, the actor, who was shooting a stunt sequence was unaware of the vehicle mishap and had to be saved by the other members of the sets, quickly moved him away from the path of the moving vehicle. If reports are to be believed, the reason behind the mishap is expected to be a technical mishap wherein the vehicle couldn’t be stopped on time.

Recalling the incident, Vishal explained about it in his Twitter post saying, “Just missed my life in a matter of few seconds and few inches, Thanks to the Almighty… Numb to this incident back on my feet and back to shoot, GB”. Many of the actor’s well-wishers from the fraternity as well as his fans expressed their concern after he shared the video on the platform.

It is being said that this is not the first accident on the sets of the film. Earlier, the leading man Vishal had sustained injuries on his leg and knee whilst shooting for an action sequence in the film.

Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, Mark Antony stars Vishal, S J Suryah, and Sunil. As for the film, we hear that it is in the completion stage and the makers are wrapping up the final schedule of the same.
