Vijay Deverakonda’s film with Samantha titled Kushi stalled

This is the first time that Vijay Deverakonda has been paired opposite Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

Ever since Liger came and bombed, there seems to be no end to Vijay Deverakonda’s troubles. Liger-related issues such as the distributors’ reimbursement and the ED inquiry into the foreign investments are also yet to be resolved.

In the meanwhile Vijay’s next Telugu film Kushi co-starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu seems to be delayed because of Samantha’s health issues. Ever since she has been diagnosed with a rare skin ailment, her projects have suffered delays.

One now hears that Vijay’s underproduction romcom Kushi where he is paired with Samantha for the first time, is delayed  “indefinitely”.

A source from Hyderabad told us, “Samantha needs to focus on her health. Vijay Deverakonda is completely supportive. He is willing to wait for as long as it takes.”
