Readers would be aware that South Cinema was expected to witness one of its biggest clash of all times, as superstars from the industry like Nandamuri Balakrishna aka Balayya, Chiranjeevi, Thalapathy Vijay, and Ajith were expected to battle it out during the festive occasion of Makar Sankranti and Pongal. Fans were eager to catch up on the films of their favourite superstars in theatres. Joining them in their enthusiasm were also Balayya fans, who seems to have caused a ruckus in certain theatres in the USA. The chaos created, resulted in the cancelation of Veera Simha Reddy shows.

In a recent video that found its way online, we can see the multiplex/theatre authorities losing their cool after fans dirtied the theatre premises by throwing papers all around. While the fans celebrated the occasion of catching Nandamuri Balakrishna ka Balayya on the big screening, their noise and actions caused authorities to intervene and stop the screening of Veera Simha Reddy midway. As per the video, some theatre officials were seen requesting them to leave the theatre premises saying, “Sorry. A lot of you have come here to watch a movie and have a great evening. I understand that but don’t blame on me, blame on those who are causing this confusion. This situation never happened before. This is not the first time we are exhibiting Indian movies. We never had these problems before. We are really sorry but I need to ask you to please leave.”

Meanwhile, Veera Simha Reddy, which released on January 13, is facing another issue as it has fallen prey to piracy. Even before completing a day, a pirated version seems to have gone viral online and was available for download on certain platforms within few hours of its theatrical release.

Coming to the film, it is directed by Gopichand Malineni and features Shruti Haasan as the leading lady.
