Shruti Haasan completes the schedule of Salaar

Shruti Haasan, who was last seen alongside stalwarts like Chiranjeevi and stars like Nandamuri Balakrishna in Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy, is all set for the release of another big entertainer this year. Salaar, that marks the return of Prashanth Neel in the pan India genre after KGF Chapter 2, will be featuring the actress as the leading lady with Prabhas as the male lead and Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist. While the film had gone on floors last year, Shruti Haasan took to social media to announce the wrap of her schedule for the film and along with that, also posted a lovely note, expressing her gratitude towards the team of the film.

Shruti Haasan shared a monochrome photo with the director of the film, Prashanth Neel and cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda on her Instagram page. While the actress was careful enough to not share Prabhas’ photo and maintaining his look for the film under wraps, the actress also posted a thank you note for her co-star. Expressing her gratitude towards the team, she wrote in the caption, “AND it’s a wrap on SALAAR for me… Thankyou Prashant sir for making me your aadya.. you are exceptional ..Thankyou @actorprabhas for being beyond wonderful the absolute darling and @bhuvanphotography for just being so kind and being you .. @hombalefilms it was lovely working on this special film with ALL of the team that was filled with positivity and truly felt like family by the end of it ???? so grateful #seeyouatthemovies”.

Readers would recall that the makers have already unveiled the first look of Shruti Haasan as Aadya in the film. The actress recently had opened up about the film to Cinema Express wherein she had said,
“Salaar is genuinely one of the nicest, no-nonsense, good-energy films I have been part of. I am so happy that one of my biggest projects is also one of my nicest experiences.”

Salaar is expected to release on September 28, 2023.
