Shooting for Karthik Subbaraj’s next directorial Jigarthanda DoubleX goes on floors in Madurai

The shooting of Jigarthanda DoubleX written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam of Stone Bench Films commenced in Madurai recently. Taking off from where Jigarthanda (2014) left off, Jigarthanda DoubleX, a high-octane action entertainer will feature Raghava Lawrence and S J Suryah as the leading protagonists. Jigarthanda (2014), a gangster-action flick directed by Karthik Subbaraj received both critical acclaim and box-office success. The anticipation for Jigarthanda DoubleX among cinema fans is at an all-time high as the film is set in a similar backdrop and belongs to the same genre.

Producer, Stone Bench Films, Kaarthekeyen Santhanam said, “Jigarthanda DoubleX is a dream project. Jigarthanda DoubleX is written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj and is produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam under the banner of Stone Bench Films. It stars Raghava Lawrence and S J Suryah in the lead and will be released in Hindi, Telugu , Tamil and worldwide in 2023.
