Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Shaakuntalam Promotions Set Social Media Ablaze

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is all set to release her much-awaited film Shaakuntalam soon, and the promotions for the movie have set social media on fire. The actress recently shared a series of stunning pictures on her Instagram handle wearing a white satin dress, alongside the caption “Let’s talk all things Shaakuntalam”. Fans have flooded the comments section with fire and heart emojis, expressing their excitement for the movie.

Directed by Gunasekhar, Shaakuntalam is set to release on April 14 and also stars Dev Mohan, Mohan Babu, Madhoo, Gautami, Aditi Balan, and Ananya Nagalla. The film is based on the Indian play Abhijnanashakuntalam by the great poet Kalidasa and will be released in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has also given a glowing review of the film, calling it “one of our greatest epics brought to life so endearingly”. She expressed her excitement for audiences to be swept away by the powerful emotions in the film and shared her appreciation for the director Gunasekhar, and the producers Dil Raju and Neelima.

In addition to her Instagram post, Samantha also shared a new poster for Shaakuntalam featuring herself and wrote, “We are ready. Really really ready this time! And very excited to meet you all in theatres and welcome you into the world of Shaakuntalam.”
