S.S. Rajamouli, Dhanush, Dulquer Salmaan, Rakshit Shetty launch the teaser of Nani starrer Dasara

Not too long ago we had reported that following the trend of Pan India films will be yet another venture featuring Nani in the lead alongside popular South star Keerthy Suresh. The film in question is Dasara which is directed by Srikanth Odela. The latest update on that front is that the teaser of the film was released on January 30 and some renowned celebrities across Indian cinema like SS Rajamouli, Dhanush, Dulquer Salmaan, and Rakshit Shetty came together to launch the teaser of this multi-lingual entertainer.

A source close to the film spoke about it saying, “Dasara is a very rooted film and the teaser of the movie will indicate the raw, rustic, and intense nature of the movie. Just like the festival Dasara, which marks the victory of good over evil, the film will depict the same. The content is original and we think it will appeal to audience all across the nation. The actors have even undergone extreme makeovers for the film, in which they will be showing the world of people working in the coal mines to the customs.” Here’s how the celebrities SS Rajamouli, Dhanush, Dulquer Salmaan, and Rakshit Shetty launched the teaser of the film.

Talking about the teaser, it shows Dharani (Nani) standing in front of a massive Ravana effigy and glimpses of the village he resides in, which is Veerlapally, situated in Godavarikhani neighbourhood of Telangana. But it is not the beauty of the village and the colorful lives of people that it focuses on but it shows the grim and dark world of people working in Singareni Coal Mines where the flow of alcohol is in abundance. To add to Dharani’s world, which is already running wild, some evil forces are seen causing further disturbance in the village. While Shine Tom Chacko and Sai Kumar appear in negative shaded roles, leading lady Keerthy Suresh is missing from the teaser.

While cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan ISC on camera, the background score is given by Santosh Narayanan and Navin Nooli has worked on the film’s editing. With Dheekshith Shetty, Samuthirakani, Sai Kumar, Zarina Wahab also playing pivotal roles, Dasara will have a simultaneous release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages on March 30.
