Filmmaker Vetrimaaran Confirms Collaboration with Jr NTR for Upcoming Project

Renowned filmmaker Vetrimaaran has confirmed that he will be collaborating with Jr NTR for an upcoming project. This news comes after months of speculation and rumours surrounding their potential collaboration. Vetrimaaran, who has previously worked with Dhanush on multiple occasions, stated that he will not be collaborating with Jr NTR for the sake of star value, but only if the content demands a star like him.

During an interaction with the media, Vetrimaaran said, “Collaboration will make sense to me and I will not collaborate just for the star value or the combination value. I will only collaborate for content that will demand a star like him. So that much I can say.”

Fans of both the director and the actor expressed their excitement for the collaboration, with many calling it an “epic collaboration”. Vetrimaaran also confirmed that he had pitched a story idea to Jr NTR and that their project would take time to take off as both of them are currently occupied with their respective assignments.

Jr NTR is currently working on his upcoming Telugu film with director Koratala Siva, which marks the Telugu debut of Janhvi Kapoor. The film is expected to release later this year. Meanwhile, Vetrimaaran is set to commence work on his next film Vaadivasal, which will star Suriya.
