The auditorium roared with applauses as the team of RRR achieved a massive feat by winning the 80th Golden Globe Awards. The movie received the award in the category of Best Original Song for their dance track ‘Naatu Naatu’ and the announcement was made by Wednesday star Jenna Ortega. The entire team of the film including S.S. Rajamouli, Junior NTR, and Ram Charan cheered for M.M. Keeravani who went on stage to receive this award. As wishes started pouring in for the team from fans, and industry friends from across the world, our honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi too congratulated the team on social media.

PM Narendra Modi took to Twitter to congratulate the entire team who worked on the song ‘Naatu Naatu’. Along with the post, the PM also posted the iconic victory moment on Twitter saying, “A very special accomplishment! Compliments to @mmkeeravaani, Prem Rakshith, Kaala Bhairava, Chandrabose, @Rahulsipligunj. I also congratulate @ssrajamouli, @tarak9999, @AlwaysRamCharan and the entire team of @RRRMovie. This prestigious honour has made every Indian very proud.”

The award was received by composer M.M. Keeravani, who later also gave a heartfelt speech, expressing his gratitude. Along with him, the entire team of the film also spoke to the media, appreciating the kind of love that was showered on them on an international scale.

Readers would be aware that the song ‘Naatu Naatu’ was majorly picturized on the leading men of the film, Junior NTR and Ram Charan, along with Olivia Morris. Interestingly, the song is also shortlisted for nomination in the same category in the upcoming Oscars 2023. Choreographed by Prem Rakshith, the original song was sung by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava.

Coming to the film, RRR is set against the pre Independence era with Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Allison Doody. The film released in March 2022 in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and later, it also released throughout Japan a few months ago.
