NC22: Arvind Swamy, Priyamani, Sarath Kumar & others join Naga Chaitanya starrer

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya’s Telugu-Tamil bilingual project under the direction of filmmaker Venkat Prabhu went on floors a few days back. Tentatively titled NC22, the film has Krithi Shetty as the female lead. Considered to be one of the most expensive films in the career of Chaitanya, the film has a few other names added to the star cast. Popular Tamil actor Arvind Swami will be joining them along with The Family Man fame Priyamani. Besides them, Sarath Kumar is also expected to be a part of the film.

The makers of NC22 took to social media in order to officially announce the star cast and shared details regarding the same. Besides the announcement of Arvind Swami, Priyamani, Sarath Kumar, other actors include Premji Amaren, Premi Vishwanath, Sampath Raj, and Vennela Kishore are among the notable actors who have joined the stellar cast. While the producers Srinavasaa Silver Screen made the announcement on Twitter, it was reposted by the lead Naga Chaitanya on his official social media handle saying, “Super excited to be collaborating with such amazing actors !!” While details of the roles essayed by these actors are currently being kept under wraps, sources claim that they will be doing powerful roles in this action entertainer.

Srinivasaa Chitturi is producing the film in a prestigious manner on the Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner. The legendary father-son duo Maestro, Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja and Little Maestro Yuvan Shankar Raja are all set to compose music for this movie. Pavan Kumar will be presenting this film whereas Abburi Ravi will be penning the dialogues and SR Kathir will be handling the cinematography.

After his Bollywood debut with Laal Singh Chaddha, NC22, featuring Krithi Shetty will be marking the Tamil debut of Naga Chaitanya.
