Nani on the unpredictability of stardom and his upcoming film ‘Dasara’

Actor Nani, who has become a household name in the Telugu film industry, recently spoke about his journey to stardom and his upcoming film ‘Dasara’ during a media interaction.

The actor, who has been in the industry for over 15 years, stated that stardom is not something that can be planned, but rather a combination of luck, talent, hard work, and the support of the audience. “You cannot plan stardom. It just happens. You need to have talent, the right films, and the support of the audience. I never planned to become a star. I just wanted to do good films,” Nani said.

Talking about his upcoming film ‘Dasara’, Nani revealed that it marks an important milestone in his career. He plays the role of a drunkard and ruffian in a violent story, which appears to be his first attempt at tapping into the pan-India audience. “This is a very important film in my career. I’m playing a very different role in this movie. It’s a violent story, and I’m playing a drunkard and a ruffian. It’s a challenging role, but I’m enjoying the process,” Nani said.

The actor also talked about his approach to choosing scripts, stating that he looks for interesting and challenging roles that allow him to showcase his versatility as an actor. “I always look for interesting roles that challenge me as an actor. I want to do different kinds of films and explore different genres,” Nani added.

Directed by Shankar Bhanu, ‘Dasara’ also stars Ruhani Sharma and Sathya in prominent roles, and is produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film is set to release on March 30, and fans of Nani are eagerly waiting to see him in this much-awaited movie.
