“Leo will definitely emerge a winner,” says Mysskin

Thalapathy 67, which is titled Leo went on floors in January after the muhurat puja. Headlined by Vijay, the forthcoming film is part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe. The makers have already released the teaser of Leo earlier this month and the cast and crew are currently shooting in Kashmir. Reportedly, director-turned-actor Mysskin had also joined the crew, and now he has wrapped up for the Vijay starrer

Making the official announcement of the same, Mysskin took to his social media handle and shared a letter, written in Tamil, which read, “I am returning to Chennai from Kashmir today. A 500-member ‘Leo’ team worked in -12 degree Celsius to wrap up my portions. Stunt master Anbariv brilliantly choreographed an action sequence. I was surprised by seeing the hard work and the love showered upon me by the assistant directors. Even in that cold weather, producer Lalit worked as a fellow worker.”

He also lauded director Lokesh Kanagaraj as he wrote, “Like a seasoned filmmaker, Lokesh Kanagaraj was working on the field like a warrior with a single thought, kindly and strictly. After my last scene, he hugged me, and I kissed him on his forehead.”

Giving a shout-out to the Leo team and Vijay, he signed off by adding, “I am happy to have worked as an actor with my beloved brother Vijay. I will never forget his humbleness and his love towards me. The film ‘Leo’ will definitely emerge a winner.”

Speaking of the film, the action thriller will also feature Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Priya Anand, Sandy, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas, and Arjun Sarja, besides Vijay and Mysskin. It is slated to release on October 19, 2023.
