Krithi Shetty features in a frame behind bars in the first look poster of Custody

Naga Chaitanya starrer Telugu-Tamil bilingual project Custody directed by leading filmmaker Venkat Prabhu has already gone on floors and the shoot is expected to be progressing quickly. While we already got a glimpse of the film’s leading man Naga Chaitanya in the ferocious avatar of a cop as it was released during New Year earlier, now the makers have shared another update about the film – the first look of the film’s leading lady Krithi Shetty.

Today the makers surprised everyone by introducing Krithi Shetty as Revathi from the film. Revealing her first look poster makers wrote, “Presenting the Charming and Gorgeous Krithi Shetty as the Revathi ???? from Custody.”  Unlike the usual glamorous avatars of heroines in Indian films, the poster left everyone surprised as it featured Krithi Shetty in a deglam look. Furthermore, the actress is shown standing behind bars. While we are still unaware of what it indicates, it seems that Krithi is in prison.

A source close to the film said, “We wanted a poster that piques everyone’s interest and yet a glimpse of her character. We know that this poster has raised a lot of questions about how strong Krithi’s character will be. While we cannot reveal those details, we are sure that this poster is going to leave fans stunned for its technical brilliance.”

Talking about the film, we had earlier revealed that Arvind Swami will be seen playing the antagonist role whereas Priyamani too will be seen in a powerful role. The film also stars Sarathkumar, Sampath Raj, Premji, Vennela Kishore, Premi Vishwanath, and many other notable actors.

Custody is said to be one of the most expensive films in the career of Naga Chaitanya. Coming to the film’s crew, Srinivasaa Chitturi is producing the film under the banner Srinivasaa Silver Screen. We hear that he is keen on making the film with high production values and technical standards. Pavan Kumar will be presenting this ambitious project with music composed by Maestro Ilayaraja and his son Yuvan Shankar Raja. Abburi Ravi has penned the dialogues whereas SR Kathir is handling the cinematography.

Custody is expected to hit the big screens on May 12, 2023 in Telugu and Tamil. The Venkat Prabhu directorial also marks the debut of Naga Chaitanya in Tamil.
