Kangana Ranaut lands in Hyderabad; shares update of Chandramukhi 2 shooting

When it comes to social media platforms, actress Kangana Ranaut, without a second thought, takes no time in expressing her unfiltered opinion. On the other hand, she also keeps her fans posted with her whereabouts and the shooting schedule of her upcoming projects. From recce for Emergency to the pre-production process and wrap, Kangana gave a peek into the making of the film. And now, through her Instagram, she is giving her fans glimpses of her next project Chandramukhi 2, for which she recently jetted off to Hyderabad.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Tanu Weds Manu actress shared a photo of herself, in which she can be seen posing in an aeroplane. In a green saree and minimal make-up look, Ranaut posed for the camera. Captioning the photo, she wrote, “Just landed in Hyderabad for #chandramukhi 2 second schedule.

For the unversed, Chandramukhi 2 is Kangana’s second Tamil-language project after Thalavii. The sequel of the Rajinikanth and Jyothika starrer was announced last year in November. In the forthcoming film, Kangana will be seen playing the role of Chandramukhi, a world-renowned dancer in the King’s court who’s known for her dancing skills and breath-taking beauty. Speaking of the male lead, actor Raghava Lawrence will be seen opposite Kangana. Helmed by P. Vasu, it is produced under the banner of Lyca Productions.

Coming to the professional front, besides Chandramukhi 2 and Emergency, the 37-year-old actress has multiple projects in her kitty, including Tejas, in which she will be seen as an Air Force pilot. Though the film wrapped long ago, Kangana is yet to announce its release date. Meanwhile, she recently confirmed the release date of Emergency. It will arrive in theatres on October 20 this year.
