Jr NTR gets nominated for Best Actor in the Critics Choice Super Awards for his act in RRR

Putting India on the global map one step higher each time, superstar Jr NTR has bagged the Best Actor nomination in an Action Movie category at the Critics Choice Super Awards for his act in RRR. The pan-Indian actor has soared to global dominance with his performance as Komaram Bheem in SS Rajamouli’s period action film.

The Critics Choice Association (CCA) unveiled the nominees for the 3rd Annual Critics Choice Super Awards last night. Winners for the same will be announced on Thursday March, 16.

Jr NTR played an Indian revolutionary hero in RRR. The scene where he races through the jungle and roars back to the tiger is one of the memorable moments from his performance from the film.

RRR has previously won the Golden Globe for Best Original Song (for ‘Naatu Naatu) in which Jr NTR and Ram Charan danced their heart out, among a slew of other international accolades. ‘Naatu Naatu’ is also nominated for the Oscars this year! The winning streak has now continued as RRR is also nominated for Best Action Movie at the 3rd Annual Critics Choice Super Awards.

Up next, Jr NTR will be seen in NTR 30, which is directed by Koratala Siva. He will also be working with KGF director Prashanth Neel on NTR31.
