Known for shows like Balika Vadhu and Sasural Simar Ka, Avika Gor has been exploring several mediums, ranging from short films to OTT to South to Bollywood. The actress will soon be seen in an upcoming production titled Popcorn in which she will be essaying the role of the leading lady along with Sai Ronak as the leading man. The film is expected to be an emotional roller coaster ride between two youngsters, who trapped in a lift as they experience friendship, love, and a dire need for survival. Speaking about her camaraderie with the star, Avika recalled the first time she shot with Ronak and also confessed that he is the first actor she has kissed onscreen.

Avika Gor, who, loved to collaborate yet again with Sai Ronak for Popcorn, opened up about how they share a special bond. She said “I have worked with Ronak in #Bro before this. I had my first onscreen kiss in that film and I still remember, he made me so comfortable. He is such a nice person. When I was told that we are doing Popcorn, like when the pre-production was happening, I suggested his name. I wanted someone in my production to be tantrum-less, hardworking, talented and comfortable with me. It was the best decision. The character needed someone to be good-looking and charming. He has done an amazing job. He is also a great dancer.”

Avika went on to continue, “We share a great of screen chemistry. We are very good friends. If this works out for him and things go well, we will do more movies together. We love working together. We inspire each other. I inspire him with my punctuality and he inspires me with his love for learning new things. The effort he puts in learning new things is incredible.”

Coming to Popcorn, it is being directed by Murali Naga Srinivas Gandham. Earlier Avika had spoken about the film saying, “Popcorn is a catchy name. There are a lot of meanings to it. It’s great that people are actually asking me: why the name ‘Popcorn’ and I have told them that they will know it once they see the film. One and a half hours will pass by and you will not even know. I’m excited, and nervous and have mixed feelings and emotions. I’m hoping for a good response from the audience.”
