It’s a special day in the world of Indian cinema as the renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli celebrates his 50th birthday. The director, known for creating epic cinematic masterpieces, received a flood of warm wishes from both Bollywood and Tollywood stars on this momentous occasion. Let’s take a look at the heartfelt messages that poured in for the visionary director.

Jr NTR, who portrayed the character of Komaram Bheem in the movie, posted a behind-the-scenes picture from the set of ‘RRR.’ In the candid snap, he is seen sharing a light moment with the director. His caption read, “Happy Birthday Jakkana @ssrajamouli !! Sending lots of love…”

Ajay Devgn, another prominent actor in ‘RRR,’ also shared his warm wishes for Rajamouli on social media. Keep creating masterpieces that touch hearts worldwide.” Notably, Ajay Devgn had previously worked with SS Rajamouli in the 2012 fantasy film ‘Eega,’ where he provided a voiceover for the Hindi version titled ‘Makkhi.’

SS Rajamouli’s 50th birthday comes after the remarkable success of ‘RRR.’ The screenwriter of the Oscar-winning film and Rajamouli’s father, Vijayendra Prasad, has confirmed that a sequel is in the pipeline. Interestingly, there’s speculation that Rajamouli may not direct the sequel of ‘RRR.’

In a recent announcement, Rajamouli revealed that he would be the driving force behind an upcoming Indian cinema biopic titled ‘Made In India.’ This biopic is based on the life of ‘the father of Indian cinema,’ Dadasaheb Phalke. The film, directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Nitin Kakkar, is set to release in six languages: Marathi, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Rajamouli expressed his emotions on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “When I first heard the narration, it moved me emotionally like nothing else. Making a biopic is tough in itself, but conceiving one about the FATHER OF INDIAN CINEMA is even more challenging. Our boys are ready and up for it..:) With immense pride, Presenting MADE IN INDIA…”
