Salman Khan to Build Luxurious 19-Storey Hotel in Mumbai’s Prime Location

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and his family are reportedly venturing into the hospitality industry with plans to construct a lavish hotel in Mumbai. According to a report by Times Of India, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has approved the building plans for the hotel, which will be situated at a prime sea-facing plot on Carter Road in Bandra, Mumbai. Initial plans had envisioned the plot for residential redevelopment, but the Khans have now decided to build a 19-storey luxurious hotel instead.

The ownership of the property rests with Salman Khan’s mother, Salma Khan, as stated in the report. The proposal for the hotel was submitted more than a year ago in her name. The building plans reveal that the hotel will span 19 floors, including three-level basements. The first and second floors are designated for a café and a restaurant, while the third floor will house a gymnasium and a swimming pool. The fourth floor will serve as the service floor, while the convention center will occupy the fifth and sixth floors. The remaining floors, from the seventh to the nineteenth, will be dedicated to hotel accommodation. As of now, there has been no official confirmation from Salman Khan’s team regarding the project.

However, despite the approval, there have been no visible signs of construction on the plot. Currently, a building stands on the site, which will reportedly need to be demolished to make way for the hotel.

Turning to Salman Khan’s professional commitments, the actor was recently seen in the film “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,” directed by Farhad Samji. The movie features an ensemble cast including Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh, Jagapathi Babu, Raghav Juyal, Shehnaaz Gill, Jassie Gill, Palak Tiwari, among others.

Currently, Salman Khan is engrossed in the shooting of his upcoming film “Tiger 3,” where he will be sharing the screen with Katrina Kaif.
