Rajinikanth’s Jailer gets UA certificate from CBFC
Rajinikanth starrer Jailer is all set to release on the big screens on August 10.

Legendary actor Rajinikanth has been gearing up to be back on the silver screen with his action entertainer Jailer. The film is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, and is slated to release in cinemas in August 2023. Now, the makers have revealed that the film has gotten clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
On Thursday, Sun Pictures tweeted that the film was cleared with a U/A certificate. “#Jailer certified U/A. Get ready to witness the rage of Muthuvel Pandian from Aug 10th,” the tweet read.

The first song ‘Kaavaalaa’ featuring Rajinikanth and Tamannaah Bhatia has already been trending and went viral in no time. On Friday, the makers are hosting the audio launch event in the presence of Rajinikanth, and Jackie Shroff among others.
The film stars Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Sunil, Vinayakan, Mirnaa Menon, and Tamannaah Bhatia in pivotal roles, Jailer will release in theatres on August 10.
