In the realm of Indian cinema, director Prasanth Varma stands out with an exceptional start to 2024, courtesy of the success of HanuMan, a superhero film deeply rooted in Indian history and culture. The film showered with accolades and global acclaim, has left fans eagerly awaiting news about its sequel, Jai Hanuman. The wait is finally over, as Prasanth Varma shares an exciting update.

On the auspicious occasion of the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishta, Prasanth Varma announced the commencement of Jai Hanuman’s pre-production work. Displaying his commitment, the director shared a picture holding the screenplay of ‘Jai Hanuman’ in front of a statue of Lord Hanuman. His post expressed gratitude for the love and support received for HanuMan, marking the initiation of a new journey.

The film is set to feature Teja Sajja, yet the anticipation builds around the casting of Lord Hanuman and Lord Shri Ram. While rumours circulate, there is no official confirmation from Prasanth Varma or the HanuMan team regarding these pivotal roles.

Prasanth Varma, known for his visionary approach, is crafting his own Cinematic Universe of superheroes, aptly named PVCU. HanuMan is a significant part of this universe, and Jai Hanuman is expected to follow suit. The director has also teased another superhero film, Adhira, leaving fans curious about its connection to the PVCU.

The director’s grand plans for PVCU involve two phases, each containing six films, resulting in a total of 12 superheroes originating from this unique universe. Prasanth Varma aims to release a superhero film every Sankranti, adding a rhythmic and festive touch to his ambitious cinematic venture.

As the pre-production work for Jai Hanuman kicks off, the director’s innovative vision promises a thrilling continuation of the superhero saga, leaving audiences eager for more revelations from the PVCU.
