Ponniyin Selvan aka PS 1, the magnum opus and dream project of filmmaker Mani Ratnam, has been garnering positive responses across quarters. His tweet read, “’PS2′ ARRIVES SUMMER 2023… #PS2 is targeting a *Summer 2023* release… The exact date will probably be locked in the next couple of weeks.” Furthermore, it is also being said that the shooting schedule of the second instalment is complete and that the film will soon go into post-production. The trade analyst also mentioned that, unlike Baahubali and KGF, the makers of Ponniyin Selvan shot both parts of the film simultaneously.
