Dragon Producer Unveils Details About Exciting New Project with Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel

There’s no doubt that Jr. NTR and Prashanth Neel’s upcoming film, Dragon, is one of the most highly anticipated projects in Indian cinema right now. At a recent success meet, the film’s producer, Ravi Shankar, revealed some intriguing details about the film.

Interestingly, during the Telugu success meet for Dragon, directed by Pradeep Ranganathan and Ashwath Marimuthu, Ravi Shankar, who also holds the rights to the film’s Telugu theatrical release through Mythri Movies, was asked about his upcoming venture with Jr. NTR. When asked about the much-anticipated film, Ravi Shankar first confirmed if the question was about the Jr. NTR-starring Dragon directed by Prashanth Neel, before giving his response.

He shared, “Without a doubt, Dragon is one of the most unique scripts I have ever encountered. A story like this has never been seen in Indian cinema before. The possibilities are endless for this film, and I’m extremely confident about its success.” When asked about his box office expectations for Dragon, he said, “It’s impossible to predict the box office performance of Dragon. I believe it will exceed everyone’s expectations.” Ravi Shankar also addressed the film’s release date, confirming that the makers intend to stick to the planned release schedule.

Currently, Jr. NTR and Prashanth Neel are working on this epic action-adventure film, tentatively titled Dragon. Filming is ongoing, and the team is aiming for a release in early 2026. This marks Jr. NTR’s 31st project and his first collaboration with director Prashanth Neel.
