Shah Rukh Khan led Don 3 in scripting stage
Don 3 starring Shah Rukh Khan is in the making. The film be directed by Farhan Akhtar.

Producer Ritesh Sidhwani who is currently busy promoting his web-series Dahaad starring Sonakshi Sinha has confirmed that the third installment of Shah Rukh Khan’s film Don is currently in the scripting stages. Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Pathaan which emerged as the biggest hit in his career.
Now, coming to Don, the Farhan Akhtar directorial will feature Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role in the third part of the movie. Ritesh is Farhan’s partner at their production house, Excel Entertainment.
In an interview with news agency PTI, Ritesh said, “Till my partner (Farhan Akhtar) finishes writing it, we won’t do anything. Right now, he is in the phase of completing the script… Even all of us are eagerly waiting to see Don.
Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh’s banner Excel Entertainment bought the rights to the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer 1978 film of the same name. Don (1978) was directed by Chandra Barot. Excel Entertainment remade the 1978 film with Shah Rukh in the lead role. The first Don released in 2006 and the second installment came out in 2011.
For the unversed, SRK has Jawan starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupati, directed by Atlee, releasing this year. He also has Dunki with Raju Hirani in pipeline.
