Samantha Ruth Prabhu has a fever ahead of Shaakuntalam release
Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared on her social media, that she is down with fever ahead of the release of her film Shaakuntalam. She also urged fans to attend the promotional event today evening in Hyderabad.

Superstar Samantha Ruth Prabhu was seen busy promoting her film Shaakuntalam across India. The actress has travelled to various cities to promote the film. She took to twitter and shared that she is down with fever and have lost her voice ahead of the film’s release.
Shaakuntalam is all set to release on April 14th in the theatres. Recently, Samantha she promoted Shaakuntalam in Kochi, she was shooting for Kushi and when she promoted the film in Mumbai, she was busy with the shoot of Citadel. Samantha has now fallen sick due to back-to-back shoots and promotions of the upcoming film.
Taking to her Twitter handle, Samantha Ruth Prabhu wrote, “I was really excited to be amongst you all this week promoting my film and soaking in your love. “Unfortunately, the hectic schedules and promotions have taken its toll, and I am down with a fever and have lost my voice. Please join team #Shaakuntalam at the Annual Day Event of MLRIT this evening… will miss you.”

Directed by Gunasekhar, Shaakuntalam is a whimsical tale of love and is based on internationally acclaimed Kalidasa’s Sanskrit play ‘Abhijnana Shakuntalam. The film features Samantha as Shakuntala and Dev Mohan as Dushyanta, the King of the Puru Dynasty. Allu Arjun’s daughter Arha is making her acting debut with the film.
