The entertainment industry is buzzing with news of a groundbreaking deal for the digital rights of “Kalki 2898 AD”. Latest reports reveal that the OTT rights for the movie have been sold for a staggering Rs. 375 crore, smashing all previous records.

According to rumours, Amazon Prime Video has secured the pan-Indian project’s digital rights for all southern languages (Telugu, Tamil, etc.) for an eye-popping Rs. 200 crores. This monumental agreement highlights the immense anticipation surrounding the film.

However, it remains unconfirmed whether it’s Netflix or Jio Cinema. This historic deal underscores the film’s universal appeal and promises an electrifying cinematic experience.

With a colossal budget of Rs. 600 crore, “Kalki 2898 AD” is the most expensive Indian film ever made. The visionary director Nag Ashwin, cinematographer Djordje Stojiljkovic, and music composer Santhosh Narayanan are set to deliver a visual spectacle of epic proportions. Alongside Prabhas, the movie features a star-studded cast, including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani, ensuring an unparalleled cinematic journey.

Currently, in post-production, the film is undergoing meticulous work on VFX, background score, and other technical aspects.

Initially slated for May 9, 2024, “Kalki 2898 AD” may face a potential delay due to the election scenario, as per recent reports. Producers Vyjayanti Movies are in discussions with distributors to finalize a new release date, considering options such as the last week of July or the third week of August.
