Ram Charan and Upasana Proudly Walk Out of Hospital with Their Newborn Princess

Hyderabad, India – Mega star Ram Charan and his wife Upasana stepped out of the Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad, radiating joy as they embarked on their journey as proud parents to a baby girl. The couple, donning matching white outfits, carefully shielded their little princess from the paparazzi. After four days of hospital stay, the new mommy and her daughter have been discharged, bringing smiles to their faces and hearts filled with happiness.

Ram Charan and Upasana’s baby girl arrived after 11 years of their blissful marriage on June 20. Upasana was admitted to Apollo Hospital on the evening of June 19, and their bundle of joy was born at midnight. With their newborn securely cradled in their arms, the couple graciously posed for the cameras as they made their way to the residence of Ram Charan’s father, Chiranjeevi.

The proud parents had already made preparations to welcome their baby girl. They procured a handcrafted cradle made by survivors of human trafficking, demonstrating their commitment to social causes. Additionally, the RRR singer, Kaala Bhairava, composed a special and meaningful tune dedicated to Ram Charan’s little one.

The news of the “Mega Princess” gracing the world with her presence spread like wildfire, leading to joyous celebrations at the hospital. The Mega family, including grandparents Chiranjeevi and his wife, Allu Aravind and his wife, Allu Arjun, Varun Tej, Charan’s sisters Sushmitha, Sreeja, Niharika Konidela, and many others, thronged the hospital to share in the joyous moment. Enthusiastic fans joined the festivities, bursting crackers, playing dhol (traditional drums), and distributing freebies.

Ram Charan and Upasana have now returned to the warm embrace of Chiranjeevi’s home in Jubilee, aiming to provide their daughter with the love and care of her grandparents. Chiranjeevi expressed his delight at the arrival of the “little mega princess” and conveyed his pride and happiness. Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “Welcome Little Mega Princess!! You have spread cheer among the Mega Family of millions on your arrival as much as you have made the blessed parents @AlwaysRamCharan & @upasanakonidela and us grandparents, Happy and Proud!”

Sharing further details about the newborn, Chiranjeevi revealed that she was born at 1:49 am on their favourite day of the week, Tuesday. He also shared that the baby’s horoscope is considered auspicious, adding to the family’s joy and excitement.

Amidst the celebratory atmosphere, a photo claiming to be of Ram Charan and Upasana’s daughter went viral on social media. However, the actor’s manager clarified that the circulating image was not of their baby girl, emphasizing the family’s intention to maintain privacy.

Ram Charan took the opportunity to address the media and expressed gratitude for the love and blessings pouring in from fans. When asked about their daughter’s resemblance to him or Upasana, he playfully responded, “Obviously me.” However, he remained tight-lipped about revealing her name, stating that it will be disclosed on the 21st day of her birth, as per tradition. The actor spoke fondly about his first experience holding his baby, expressing the same emotions any father would feel. He added, “Definitely, she is looking like me.”

Ram Charan and Upasana’s daughter’s arrival, as announced by Apollo Hospitals, was met with immense joy. The medical bulletin stated, “Ms Upasana Kamineni Konidela and Mr Ram Charan had a baby girl on 20th June 2023 at Apollo Hospital Jubilee Hills – Hyderabad. The baby and mother are doing well.” After 11 years of marriage, Ram Charan and Upasana finally welcomed their precious bundle of joy.

Megastar Chiranjeevi couldn’t contain his excitement over becoming a grandfather, expressing his overwhelming joy. He remarked, “Our entire family is overjoyed. This girl means a lot to us. We had been waiting for years to see Ram Charan and Upasana as parents. After many years, divine favours granted our request. We are showered in love and wishes from our friends, families, well-wishers, and admirers all around the world who always feel our happiness as their own.”
