Virupaksha, the horror-thriller film starring Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha Menon, has received a positive response from audiences and critics since its release earlier this month. The movie is Karthik Varma Dandu’s directorial debut, and it has been produced by Rajani Korrapati.
Ram Charan, Sai Dharam Tej’s cousin, and a popular Telugu actor took to social media to congratulate Sai for the success of Virupaksha. Chiranjeevi, Sai Dharam Tej’s uncle, also took to Twitter to congratulate his nephew. He shared a photo of his wife Surekha Konidela feeding Sai a piece of cake, and the top of the cake reads “Welcome Tej 2.0.” In his tweet, Chiranjeevi sent his blessings to Sai and congratulated the entire team for the success of the film.

Virupaksha has done well at the box office, grossing Rs 37 crore within the first three days of its release. The film had a pre-release business of Rs 22 crore, and it has already collected Rs 12 crore on the opening day. This means that the film is only Rs 2 crore away from its breakeven mark.
The movie is the first pan-Indian film of Sai Dharam Tej, and it was released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi on April 21. Sukumar provided the story and screenplay for the film, and B Ajaneesh Loknath is the music composer. The supporting cast includes Sunil, Ajay, and Brahmaji in important roles.
