Amidst a wave of pride and celebration, Megastar Chiranjeevi has embarked on a journey to New Delhi to receive the prestigious Padma Vibhushan Award, India’s second-highest civilian honour. Following the announcement by the Government of India on January 25th, 2024, Chiranjeevi’s selection for this esteemed accolade has been hailed as a momentous occasion, particularly in the Telugu-speaking states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Bid farewell by well-wishers and esteemed personalities at his residence, Chiranjeevi opted for the convenience of a private jet as he left for Delhi. The grand ceremony, scheduled for May 9th, will witness the Megastar being conferred with the Padma Vibhushan amidst the esteemed presence of dignitaries and luminaries.

“Vishwambhara,” envisioned as a socio-fantasy masterpiece, marks Chiranjeevi’s 156th film and features Trisha Krishnan in a prominent role. Produced by Vamsi Krishna and Pramod Uppalapati under the UV Creations banner, the film promises to captivate audiences across languages, with plans for extensive releases in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
