Jr NTR’s Busy Schedule: From ‘Devara’ to Antagonist Role in ‘War 2’

Jr NTR is all set to embark on a whirlwind of projects, juggling commitments from the anticipated ‘Devara‘ to his villainous role in ‘War 2,’ marking a significant addition to the expansive YRF Spy Universe.
Currently engrossed in Siva Koratala’s magnum opus ‘Devara,’ Jr NTR is leaving no stone unturned to wrap up shooting by the third week of January 2024. The film, reportedly divided into two parts for a comprehensive narrative, boasts a fantasy-action-thriller setup against the picturesque coastal regions of India. Co-starring Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, ‘Devara’ promises an immersive cinematic experience, slated for an April 2024 theatrical release.
Post ‘Devara,’ Jr NTR seamlessly transitions to his next mammoth venture, ‘War 2,’ directed by Ayan Mukerji and positioned as the sequel to the blockbuster ‘War.’ Set to portray the antagonist, Jr NTR will join forces with Hrithik Roshan, reprising his role as Kabir. The actor, renowned for his dedication, plans to commence shooting for ‘War 2’ in March-April 2024, following Hrithik Roshan’s scheduled shoot starting in February. Additionally, Jr NTR has committed dates for director Prashant Neel’s untitled project, tentatively titled ‘NTR 31.’
The YRF Spy Universe, initiated with ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ starring Salman Khan, has expanded with notable hits like ‘War’ and ‘Pathaan.’ The forthcoming ‘War 2’ starring Hrithik Roshan alongside Jr NTR as the antagonist, and Kiara Advani as the female lead, marks the sixth instalment of this cinematic universe, promising gripping espionage drama.
