While Salaar’s success spanned across various regions in the country, Guntur Kaaram is primarily expected to draw its audience from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film has already sold over Rs 10 crore worth of advance tickets in Andhra Pradesh, with an additional Rs 10 crore from Telangana. The film’s official social media accounts have even reported a preview gross of $1.3 million in the US, equivalent to Rs 10 crore. In comparison, Salaar had grossed $2.5 million in Thursday previews, ultimately earning $5.5 million during its opening weekend.

Mahesh Babu’s Previous Hits and Upcoming Projects

Mahesh Babu’s previous film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, was a box office hit, crossing the Rs 200 crore mark in global revenue. However, his biggest blockbuster to date remains Sarileru Neekevvaru, which was released during the same period in 2020 and grossed a whopping Rs 260 crore worldwide, with an impressive Rs 45 crore on its opening day in India.
