At the trailer launch of Carry on Jatta 3, Aamir Khan takes a dig at the poor performance at Lal Singh Chaddha

Megastar Aamir Khan is known for his brilliant skills; he is often referred as Mr. Perfectionist. The actor was last seen in Lal Singh Chadda which didn’t perform well at the box office. Now, the trailer launch of the big Punjabi film, Carry On Jatta 3, was launched today in Mumbai. It was launched by Aamir himself.

Speaking at the event Aamir said, “I am fortunate that you all made me a part of this launch event. Carry On Jatta was the biggest hit. The sequel broke the record of the first part. It seems like the third part will break the second part’s record. I am happy to be here. It’s a great pleasure. I wish the whole team all the very best.”

Gippy Grewal, the lead in Carry on Jatta 3, laughed and said, “This is the first Punjabi film releasing at such a level. We have included subtitles in the trailer. Also, the PR people told me that ek pattern chalta hai Mumbai mein. You get people on hire at the back rows and they’ll clap and hoot while the trailer is being played! Some of the filmmakers did adopt this strategy.”

Aamir Khan got amused, He took a dig at his last film, Laal Singh Chaddha and said, “Mujhe bataya hota toh main bhi kar leta. Badi zaroorat padi thi mujhe last time!”

For the unversed, Laal Singh Chaddha was released on August 11, 2022 and co-starred Kareena Kapoor Khan. Directed by Advait Chandan. The film was a flop and didn’t even cross Rs. 70 crore at the box office.
