Anushka Sharma also shared her enthusiasm for football and recalled attending a past El Clasico match between Barcelona and Real Madrid. In a video posted by Manchester City, she mentioned, “Yeah, it’s been crazy. It’s been amazing. The kind of passion that you can receive in a football game is just really unparalleled. So yeah, enjoying ourselves. To watch Man City. Yes, I have been to one of the games before and like Virat, I have bragging rights. So I went to an El Clasico.”

On the other hand, Virat Kohli, while discussing the thrilling match, revealed that he had only previously witnessed a pre-season game at a football stadium. However, he expressed his excitement at experiencing the FA Cup Finale and regretted missing Manchester City’s first goal, as they scored it within 12 seconds of the game. Kohli said, “We got five minutes late and Manchester City were 1-0 up so missed watching Man City score the goal. I went to a football stadium once before, but there is a pre-season game, this is something unbelievable and incredible life.”

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is currently focused on the upcoming ICC World Test Championship final against Australia, scheduled to take place between June 7 and June 11, with June 12 as the backup date. With 8,416 runs in 183 innings of Test cricket, Kohli is determined to lead the Indian team to victory.
