South superstar Akhil Akkineni‘s latest venture, the action-packed spy thriller “Agent,” failed to make a mark at the box office, leaving fans and critics disappointed. Released on April 28, “Agent” witnessed a pre-release business of Rs. 36.20 crore in the Telugu states. The film, directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and produced under the banner of Geetha Arts, marked a turning point for the actor as it became his first successful venture as the lead. With a pre-release business of Rs. 18.50 crore, the movie collected a total of Rs. 24.14 crore, resulting in a profit of Rs. 5.64 crore.

Directed by Vikram Kumar and released on December 22, 2017, “Hello” also faced a disappointing fate. Despite the presence of talented actors like Kalyani Priyadarshan, Jagapati Babu, and Ramya Krishna, the film incurred a loss of around Rs. 12 crores.
