SS Rajamouli’s RRR starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan to release in 200 theatres in the US in March ahead of Oscars 2023

With the Oscars 2023 buzz for the Telugu film RRR rising in the West, the team including SS Rajamouli, Jr. NTR and Ram Charan are back in the US for the promotions of the movie. As the buzz around the movie continues to garner attention, the makers are releasing the film in theatres for the third time.
As per a report in Collider, the film will release in theatres as a part of a ‘Fan CelebRRRation’ “courtesy of Variance Films, Beyond Fest, American Cinematheque, Potentate, and Sarigama Cinemas.” The special screening begins on March 1 at The Theater at Ace Hotel with special appearances by SS Rajamouli, the film’s music composer M.M. Keeravaani, and actor Ram Charan. Following this, the movie releases in theatres on March 3 in 200 cinemas.
RRR’s ‘Naatu Naatu’ won Best Original Song at the Golden Globes 2023 and Best Foreign Language Film at the Critics Choice Awards 2023. The song has also been nominated for Best Original Song for the Oscars 2023.
RRR stars Jr. NTR and Ram Charan in the leading roles along with Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in special roles. The film released last year in March and went on to become a blockbuster. RRR is a fictional tale of two Indian revolutionaries, Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju. The film explores the friendship between Ram and Bheem and their journey away from home during the 1920s.
