A few months ago, Samantha Ruth Prabhu had opened up about her autoimmune disease as she suffered from Myositis. The actress had not only spoken about her struggle but she later, was also seen assuring her fans about how she has been undergoing treatment for it. While she has been gearing up for the release of her film Shaakuntalam, she recently visited the famous Palani Murugan (Pazhani Murugan) temple in Tamil Nadu and photos and videos of her visit has found its way to social media.

Fans of the actress took to the platform to share several photos and videos of her visit to Palani Murugan, where she was also seen climbing the 600 steps to visit the shrine. Moreover, the actress also lit camphor diyas on her way to the top. However, let us tell you that Samantha did not visit the temple alone and she had her team along with Jaanu filmmaker C. Premkumar.

On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was last seen in Yashoda. Fans of the actress can’t wait to watch her on the big screen as Shaakuntalam in the forthcoming Telugu romantic drama, based on the book written by Kalidas, co-starring Dev Mohan. The film is expected to hit the theatres on April 14.

Besides that, the actress will be seen in the one-of-a-kind series Citadel. The sci-fi drama will feature her for the first time alongside Varun Dhawan and it will premiere on Amazon Prime Video. The show is expected to have multiple versions in varied languages including an American show by the same name. The latter will feature Priyanka Chopra Jonas as the leading lady.

Along with all of these, Samantha fans are also eagerly looking forward to see her chemistry with superstar Vijay Deverakonda in Kushi, which is expected to be a rom-com, directed by Siva Nirvana.
