Samantha Ruth Prabhu Declares “I’m Hero of This Film” in New Ad Video, Shuts Down Misogyny

South Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has always been vocal about her opinions on social issues, and she has done it once again with her latest ad video. In the video, Samantha can be seen shutting down misogyny and gender stereotyping with her powerful statements.

The video starts with Samantha dressed up as a bride and sitting at the mandap, where she looks into the camera and says, “Duniya ko na, ladkiyon se badi problem hai (The world has a problem with women).” The video then moves on to different scenarios where Samantha faces criticism for her choices and decisions.

In one instance, elderly aunty comments, “Ladki ki shaadi time pe ho jaani chahiye (A girl’s marriage should happen on time).” To this, Samantha replies, “Time se nahi, marzi se honi chahiye (It should happen by choice, not by time).”

In another scene, a guard is seen judging Samantha for walking in from work at midnight. To this, Samantha replies, “12 baje bhi khatam nahi hota (It doesn’t end at 12 either).”

The video ends with Samantha declaring, “But iss film ki hero toh main hoon (But I am the hero of this film),” as she flies into the air and kicks an extra during an action scene.

Samantha’s ad video sends a strong message about gender stereotyping and how women should be allowed to make their own choices without being judged or criticized. The actress has always been vocal about women’s rights and has been using her platform to bring attention to social issues.

On the work front, Samantha has been busy with her upcoming projects, including Citadel India with Varun Dhawan and Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda. She was last seen in Shaakuntalam, which did not perform well at the box office. The film’s failure has led to a feud with Telugu producer Chittibabu.

Overall, Samantha’s latest ad video is a powerful statement about misogyny and gender stereotyping, and it sends a message of empowerment and self-determination to women everywhere.
